How it works
A ryde is a sequence of confirmed states.
Finding a bike is only the beginning. ZestRyde connects availability, physical lock confirmation, operating rules, parking and payment state so the app can show what is actually happening.
The rider journey
Four steps, with the live app in charge.
Exact access rules, parking evidence and pricing can vary by operating zone. The app presents the terms that apply before a rider commits.
01
Check the live map
The rider app—not this website—is the source of truth for a vehicle’s availability, battery state, operating area and the price shown for that trip.02
Choose and scan
Select an available vehicle and reserve it where that option is offered. At the bike, scan the frame code and follow the app’s unlock state.03
Ride inside the rules
Follow local road law and the service, slow and restricted areas shown in the rider app. The map supports the ride; it does not replace attention to the street.04
Park and wait for completion
Use an approved parking area, keep access routes clear and complete any parking evidence required for that operating zone. Leave only after the app confirms the trip state.
Unlock states
A message sent is not the same as a lock opened.
The platform distinguishes an unlock request, a device acknowledgement, physical lock feedback and an active trip. Riders should follow the state shown in the app and never assume a vehicle is ready simply because a request was sent.
If the state is unclear, do not begin riding. Keep the bike and trip references and use the verified help route available in the rider app.
